So, We Meet Again, Eh?

Well, here’s my new home, blogwise. I just got tired of the old one, and it was getting pretty big over there. Big and slooow. It was getting to the point where I’d have to measure how fast (or slow) the site’s pages were loading in terms of geological time. Aside from the new name and look, I’ve also upgraded to Movable Type 3.12, which works miracles compared to the old MT 2.63 that powered Numskullery.

The amount of spam I was getting was another consideration (and the old version of MT didn’t make it easy to get that stuff off of there). By the time I upgraded what needed to be upgraded, moved things around, installed new anti-spam plug-ins and whatnot, I figured I might as well just start with a fresh slate.

And a new direction

As people tend to do with their new blogs, I’ll likely mess around with this one for the next few weeks, so don’t be surprised if something changes…because it probably will.
