It's kind of like complexity theory applied to human behavior (and marketing). It's definitely one that should be borrowed from the library, or bought used. That's not really a glowing endorsement, is it? I'm more or less convinced that his ideas are on the right track because it's the only way I can explain the continued popularity of this book. If you're looking for a good book about human behavior, you might want to check out The Culture of Fear by Barry Glassner. I wouldn’t go out of my way to read it, but it’s fairly interesting.
