Circuit Straining Training

by Chris Maddera on January 11, 2006 · 3 comments

Today was my first full all-out complete circuit workout on the new FitLinxx-equipped machines, which now have a cam-wheel-thingie that you can adjust to work different muscle groups. This new bit of technology makes the workouts as painful as using free weights.

With four machines to go, I started getting really light-headed, and had to lie down for a bit on the cool, oh-so-cool, concrete floor. But I did go back and finish the final four machines.

Why does losing weight have to be so much harder than putting it on?!

Hey dude, your ticker says you’re already down a few lbs? That turtle moves pretty fast. Good work!

Well, I’m only doing the ticker in 10 lb. increments, so 4 of 10 lbs. moves faster and farther than if I had lost 4 of 40 lbs., which is good because otherwise I might get the feeling that I’m not doing anything. This way, I can break it up in little chunks, and just deal with that way.

Yeah, but that’s a great way to approach it. My ticker is not moving at all because I have been on a brownie making binge. Bad for weight loss!
