Movies 2008

Here’s the movies I’ve seen so far this year. I’ve listed only the ones I haven’t seen before.

• Shoot ‘Em Up — This movie is nothing but a shoot ‘em up, fuck realism, way over the top gunfest. It’s so bad it’s kind of good. I like all the people in it: Clive Owen, Paul Giamatti, and Monica Bellucci, but man, this movie is horrible. I have to admit, I thought it was a fun movie because it reminded me of some of the stuff people would write in my college screen writing courses.
• War — We knew this would be bad going into it, but Cindy loooves Jason Statham. It reminded me of those Steven Seagal movies from the early ’90s, but not as bad.
